What Kind of Person Doesn't Love Pizza?

A weirdough!

Read on for all you knead to know about Chef Molen's latest adventure as a culinary crustodian. In the food laboratory at Landmark, every student got a pizza the action. It was history in the baking as the students topped off a great week of learning. Enough with the cheesy puns. Any way you slice it, this activity was a success. Another one bites the crust!

Career Fair 2021

Landmark's Career Specialist Sarah Call pulled together a fantastic career fair last week. The event had presenters from a variety of different careers, crafts, and trades. From phlebotomy to woodworking and finance to real estate there was something to interest anyone. Contact Sarah if you would like more information about some industries that are hiring right now. Botany Flower Power

Emily's Botany students got to dissect flowers last week. This lab involved students working in groups to identify the different parts of the flower on paper. After the preliminary work was completed, they got the scissors and cut in into the samples provided. Lastly, they examined their findings under the microscope.

Students in SueAnn's Leadership class are prepping for an extraordinary event later this month. There will be a Halloween dance and carnival at Landmark on Friday, October 29th. Ghoulish haunts, games, and music await you. Get it on your calendars and be there for a scary good time!

Honors Awards Assembly

Students attended the honors awards assembly last week. Special recognition was given to those with exemplary attendance, grades, and behavior. The administration and counseling office handed out certificates and chocolate to the awardees. Congratulations to these students and their efforts to make it a great day to be a Dragon!

Dragons of the Month: Mini-term 1

There was an assembly last week to recognize the students who were awarded Dragon of the Month for Mini-term 1. These awards are linked to the vital behaviors of attendance, positive attitude, productivity, cooperation, and civility here at Landmark High School. Students are nominated and recognized based on their exemplification of these 5 values. The Mini-term 1 winners are:
