Recently, our biology students dissected rats to become more familiar with their anatomy.
As Cope has taken on the mantle of Zoology instruction, so has he taken on the accoutrements. You know, critters! Let's meet some of his lil friends:
There are two parakeets. The green one goes by Buddy and the blue one is known as Maui.
He's also got a gecko named Nico, a chameleon named Oscar the Grouch (he likes to be left alone), a couple of fish named Corey and Vitamin, and has even been visited by a pair of snakes belonging to two of our students!
Our students love to interact with these animals almost as much as they love to interact with Cope!

This week the Foods class made an all-time favorite recipe today, cream puffs. They learned about dairy, eggs and their functions in nutrition and cooking.
Devin Deason- Is here on time for first period every day. He is always mentally present and engaged as well.
Alice Barlow- Best grades she has ever had
Tori Tatton- was sick for a bit and was more than willing to do what she needed to stay on top of her classwork. She didn't complain that it wasn't fair because she was sick. She knew that even thought the situation was out of her control, she was more than willing to do the work.
Lexi Pack- always has a positive attitude about school and what we're learning. I have never heard her complain. Amazing attitude
