What we're Learning: U.S. History

Students in our U.S. History have been learning about the Great Depression and to intro the topic teachers planned a stock market activity. Students were exciting to be able to try their hand at playing the stock market. Most were disappointed, however, when the market crashed and they all became destitute.

It was fun, it was frustrating, and it really got students to feel some of the emotions many during that era felt when the market crashed.

What we're learning: Child Development

In our Child’s development class the students were learning about infant nutrition and how to properly feed a infant. When we finished our discussion we had a baby food taste testing and discussion.  Students have also been learning about prenatal development and had the opportunity to participate in a pregnancy simulation activity.
