Right now students are learning EVERYTHING! After Christmas Break, students have only a couple of weeks before the terms ends. So they are buckling down to make sure their work is taken care of. Janna took this picture during 3rd period today... they were packed down there!  Something like 22 students working on work from all subject areas!

Sueann's Current Events class spent some time building classroom culture and community by tackling some breakout boxes! Students had to work in teams to complete a set of tasks designed to challenge them and to get them to work together. The first group to open their box won! The competition was cut-throat, with one team coming out ahead miliseconds before the other!

Students in Elinda's English class have been preparing to read the book Night, Elie Wiesel account of his time in a concentration camp. To better understand the author's culture, students learned about Jewish holidays, played dreidel, ate flatbread, fig newtons, gold coins, and learned about other features of Jewish Seders (or feasts).
