In Anthropology this terms, students are learning about how environment and culture interact to create unique human populations. To get a better understanding of this interplay, students did tests on soil samples to determine which soils were more likely to give rise to agricultural civilizations.

Recently, in Cope's and Emily's Biology classes, students conducted important experiments to help them understand DNA mutations. Possibly the most important lab student's have ever had... making pancakes!

The best way to learn is on a full stomach!

Landmark is a family. Families support and are there for each other. This became even more evident this last year when our attendance secretary Michell Osborn became ill. Doctors had a difficult time determining the cause of her illness, it took months! Eventually she was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.  Her story has helped three other people get a proper diagnosis. We have missed her dearly; as she's been out since the end of last school year. Faculty and staff all showed their support and were able raise over $1000 to help with expenses.
