Scott Carson Retires from Landmark

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Scott Carson retired in July after 34 years as an educator and administrator with Nebo School District. If Scott could give any advice to his younger self, it would be “ be optimistic and positive because you're going to have a good life, trust in your decisions and your choices ''

Linda Mortensen Retirement

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Linda Mortensen has just retired after working at Landmark High School for the past 8 years. She began her career with Nebo School District at the Learning Center in Springville where she spent 11 years. She loved working at Landmark because the staff is very friendly and she even loved getting to know the students.

Teacher Feature: Ben Gasser

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Ben Gasser is an English teacher here at Landmark. He is known for being funny and can be very straight up with you. He has a good sense of humor and can take a joke so it is easy to joke around with him. Ben is an English teacher because in college he initially studied Advertising with an Art minor. But once the internet started coming out it became harder for him to actually find a job in advertising. So, he figured instead he would go help out kids and teach them English.
