Nebo Adult Education Graduation

Nebo Adult Education would like to congratulate the graduating class of 2011.  This year, the Nebo Adult Education program graduated 172 students. The faculty and staff of Nebo Adult education, admires and is proud of its students because they committed to get their GED or diploma despite their busy lives.  The graduates, during their recent graduation ceremony, expressed a feeling of accomplishment and success.

This year, the program had a wide range of graduates; our oldest graduate is 63 years old and our youngest 17 years old.  The range of ages among our students is proof enough that never is too late to get a diploma or GED and Nebo Adult Education is a place to achieve that goal.

Nebo Adult Education is located at Landmark High School, (LHS) in Spanish Fork.  Being at Landmark High School, facilitates a great partnership which benefits many more students. Those who benefit the most from this partnership are LHS students who may not have achieved their high school diploma by the time their class graduated, to continue their education. This group of students is able to make a smooth transition from high school to adult education.  During our recent graduation ceremony, Nebo Adult Education had several former LHS students who graduated andPrincipal Joe Kelly, LHS principal, referred to them as “Dragons” since Adult Education is part of Landmark family.  Since our Dragons graduated, we are excited for a new school year which starts, Friday May 20, 2011.   We would like to encourage anyone who has not achieved their High School Diploma to come in and start that journey toward graduation, and a high school diploma.
