Landmark Pinning Ceremony

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

The Landmark pinning ceremony recognizes new members of the Landmark team and the Students of the Month.  Each month five students are selected for showing that they possess one of the five attributes the students, staff, administration, and faculty live by. These values are attendance, positive attitude, productivity, cooperation, and civility. The pinning of our students is a way to reward them for being the best they can be. A member of the Landmark team pins a badge onto the student and then grabs their hand in a form of a handshake that is said to resemble a heart. These students are recognized as the personification of one of the school's core values. Our mascot the dragon oversees the halls of Landmark and reminds us, "It's a great day to be a Dragon!"
