Mama G gave her greenhouse students the go-ahead to try their hand at freehand sculpting. They got to cut, carve, and create with floral foam. Here is a sampling of some of their best work
Students who keep their phones put away during class are eligible for a drawing at the end of each mini-term. Winners from last mini-term won gift cards to Little Caesars Pizza. Congratulations!
SueAnn Harding is one of the most caring teachers to work at Landmark. Sue has a positive influence on students that is expressed through her humor, and especially her kindness. Dedicated is the best word to describe Sue Her favorite thing about her job is that she gets paid to “harass” students.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Having more time, being able to be with family.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Camping, Fishing, Hunting.
Students continued to work on their "How To" projects for English. These students explained the process for checking the oil in a car. Shelby completed the check. Karen captured each step in photos. Joey and Hailey then described and transcribed each of the completed steps in a presentation. This activity expanded the student's expository writing, communication, and collaborative skills. The final result is a useful, practical tutorial in basic car care.
