Darci is a new teacher at Landmark this year. She has been a teacher for a total of four and a half years and plans on being a teacher for a very long time, or, at least until she is at least 65 years old! Darci wanted to become a teacher because she loved science and she’s really good with kids. She loves seeing them succeed in any way. Teaching is something she’s always been good at, so she pursued it. Her favorite thing about teaching at Landmark is how relaxed her classes are and that she has a good relationship with her students. She is glad it’s easier to have one on one help with all her students here.

Hidden talent: pottery or art.

Most Surprising Detail: mom of four kids (many people don’t think that she is the age that she is)

Embarrassing Moment: When her oldest son was one year old at the store. She wasn’t giving him what he wanted and he started screaming “Help! She’s murdering me!!.” Cops were called and everyone was looking at them and that was the reddest she ever has been in life!

Biggest Pet Peeve: When people are fake!

20 Years From Now: Darci is hopefully teaching geology, biology, or something at a community college level.

A Good Day: Any day that she and her students can get all their work done and the students understand what is going on.

Darci is an amazing new teacher. Even though she just started working here she cares for her students and brings light to her classroom. We really enjoy having her at our school!
