Paralegal Visits Landmark High School

Chris Cope a paralegal visited Landmark High School, in Spanish Fork on September 19, 2014, Mrs. Cope taught the students  about the judicial system with Mrs. Chelsie Young , a  US History teacher at LHS helped us learn some very important vocabulary, and helped the students learn about the judicial system.

The student held a little mock trial during the class about a man driving an ambulance through a park that didn’t allow cars to go through it. He was doing it to save someone’s life. Would you break a law in order to save someone’s life?  Laws are very important to learn so if you ever have to go to court you know what your rights are so you don’t have to worry about someone trying to abuse your rights and take them away.  It was a great experience to see how the court system works, in a non-threatening way.
