Given the current situation, it is a foregone conclusion that graduation ceremonies and proceedings around the state will not be what we are used to. We have been discussing what the possibilities are in the hope that we can come up with something that is meaningful and worthy of the hard work that our graduates have done.

Our Landmark graduation will take place in two phases: the cap and gown celebration picture phase and an online graduate program. From May 4-8, between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm, students that have already graduated may come to the school, get dressed in cap and gown, have their picture and video taken. Cap and gown will be free to our graduates.Families will have the opportunity, if they desire, to take pictures with their graduate. There will be no group gathering. This will be an immediate family gathering only outside the school. Students will also receive a nice Landmark graduate yard sign that can be placed in their yard. Diplomas will be handed out at a later date.

On May 18, the regularly scheduled graduation date, there will be a live graduation program that will be broadcast over the internet. We will have the traditional speeches and ceremonies take place at that time. Graduate names will be read and pictures or video footage of the graduate and staff will be displayed. This program will not be attended by anyone other than those that are participating in the program. The celebrations will take place from the comfort of your own living rooms.

This is our current plan. Dates may change if circumstances in the state change.
