We sat down with the legend herself. Chelsie Young, social studies teacher at Landmark High School. We asked her five questions, and five questions was all we needed!

First, we asked, “What inspired you to become a teacher?’ To which she replied, “Yelling at and roasting students.” Yes, teasing young adults, now that sounds like fun! For a little bit more fun, we asked Ms. Young if she remembers the very first crush she ever had. "Yes” was all she told us. Then, she refused to discuss such things any further. How mysterious! Intriguing we must say.

Our next question was, “What is your most embarrassing story?” Upon asking we already knew the obvious answer. Chelsie replied, “I've never done anything embarrassing.” Come on, we all knew that! The legendary Chelsie Young could never be embarrassed by something of her own doing.

“Ms. Young,” we started with another question “When you retire sometime in the future, what do you want to do?” She gave the curt answer “Travel.” Yes, Ms. Young dreams of seeing the beauty and wonders of the world. Truly, don't we all?

We ended with this, “ What is your favorite memory from when you were in high school?” She says “ That was too long ago, I can't remember.” Ah, of course, We should have known that Chelsie would've been way too occupied with far more important things in life to remember such trivial things. Besides, no experience in high school can top the one you get here at Landmark High because it's always "a GREAT day to be a DRAGON!"
