Each month Student Council hosts an advisory competition. In November Landmark held a Pringle Ring challenge. Each advisory class was allowed to send 3 students down to work together to create a free-standing ring made of Pringles.
Todd Killian's advisory was November's winner.
Each year on the last day of school before Thanksgiving, Landmark hosts a feast for the students. It is a day we come together as a Landmark family and spend time strengthening relationships. So many district and Landmark/Cornerstone staff and students work hard to make this event happen. We appreciate everything they do!
The Feast began with the Landmark Dance Company performing a holiday routine. Then Principal Lynn Mecham spoke to the students about how much they are loved and appreciated. The Turkey was then carved and served!
Landmark will begin at 9:55 today due to the weather conditions. Be safe!
Each term new students are taken through a ropes course to introduce them to the teachers, staff, and expectations at Landmark. It is a great way we built trust, community, and family here at Landmark. Second term's Indragonation was at CLAS in Provo.
At the beginning of second term an awards assembly was held to honor those students who performed well during first term. Students were awarded for excellence in the Vital Behaviors of Attendance and Productivity for grades.
Select students were also pinned true Landmark Dragons, in a ceremony honoring students that faculty and staff feel represent the ideals and values of Landmark.
Attendance: Angel Charly
Productivity: Nicole Johnson
Cooperation: Anton Gardner
Positive Attitude: Joesie Hansen

This year Landmark is offering several new courses for students. Psychology is a semester-long course that teaches students about the human brain and human behavior. To introduce these concepts to students, teacher Sarah Lewis designed an interactive, hands-on excersize to help students visualize the physiology of the brain and how that physiology impacts our behavior.
Landmark has a proud Veteran/Service tradition and we honor that tradition and those who served with an assembly on Veteran's Day. We retire our flag and place another on the pole. After the ceremony students and staff head to the gym for a special presentation honoring the staff who have served.
For your convenience, Memory Lane Photography will be here during Parent Teacher Conferences.
