There was a chip pile-up in the vending machine this week. Good thing Officer Smith was there to save the day and Hopes was able to get triple the chips!
Sarah Call is the Career Specialist here at Landmark High School. Previously, she was over concurrent enrollment for Nebo School District. Now, she works out of the CTE Office and splits her time between Landmark and Legacy. She is the connecting link between prospective employers and student employees.
This mini-term the English Department has been working on plans and next steps for life after Graduation. With the help of Sarah Call, the Department of Workforce Services, and WIOWA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Landmark students have been evaluating more career options, internships, and funding than ever before.
Landmark celebrated in style at the Fire & Ice Prom this past weekend. The music and dancing brought out the fun and good times.
Asian fusion was on the menu tonight. The cuisine for dinner was tasty and in keeping with the fire & ice theme. Students got to adjust their level of spice with custom sauces and a palate cleanser between courses. From the phenomenal Maitre D at the front of the house, to the talented servers getting food on the table, to the amazing chefs in the kitchen, the dinner portion of Prom was top notch!
Seniors Izzy, Audrey, and Kiara collected senior signatures for their ceiling tile. The class of 2022 will be watching over future Landmark Dragons as they make their way through the halls of LHS. It’s a great day to be a dragon!

Landmark teachers had some fun after the students finished taking the ACT on Wednesday. There was pickup volleyball, painting, and corn hole to round out the day.
