One of our Landmark family's favorite traditions is our annual Thanksgiving dinner. Faculty, staff, students all come to spend time together and enjoy a great meal.

Last week, Landmark had its traditional Veteran's Day assembly. The first part of this tradition is to retire the school's flag and raise another. After this, students and teachers headed in to the gym for a presentation honoring Landmark family who have served.

What We're Learning: English

Recently in Carrie's & Carly's English classes, students hung visual displays for the student research projects last mini term. This project asked students to make a bucket list of 20 items, winnow that down to their favorite five, write a project proposal, then complete 5 presentations of their research using correct MLA citation.

What we're Learning: U.S. History

History students have been learning about the far reaching impacts of the Industrial Revolution and particpated in an Ellis Island immigration simulation where they took on an identity and had to navigate the process immigrants went through at Ellis Island.
