Broadview University Visits Landmark High School

The students of Landmark High School, in Spanish Fork, were visited by  Mark Harrison from Broadview University and he did a presentation on college and how you will make more money going to college. Mark  also taught the students that there are colleges for different people. For example some colleges offer more hands on learning than the usual lesson or  classroom learning. For many students the ability to work with you hands, or have that hands on learning experience can make a big difference in what and how they learn. .

Mark Harrison  also taught  the important thing isn’t going in but finishing. If you start college and drop out halfway through that would be a waste of time. The important thing is finishing so you can go further into whatever career you’d like. For example if you want to be a police officer all you do is take the test when you are  21 and there you go but if you would like to move further up the ranks like a general or agent or something you would have to go to college for that.

Education is very important thing to keep on pursuing your career so you can love what you do while you make money. Instead of working at a fast food restaurant,  just because they can give you some money, this is a good launching place to help get you to a better career.
