In Ben Gasser's English 12 class, students have been working for the last few weeks on a major project. The assignment is a real-world attempt to understand the theoretical ideas of 2300 Years ago in Ancient Greece. Aristotle believed that in any situation that there is a specific way to convince another person to your side.
Students were expected to come up with a company, a product or line of products, do demographic and market research to develop advertisements. The commercial they created was to use an Aristotelian Appeals.
Their idea, research, and commercial was then presented to actual business owners and entrepreneurs.
