Last week, Landmark had its traditional Veteran's Day assembly. The first part of this tradition is to retire the school's flag and raise another. After this, students and teachers headed in to the gym for a presentation honoring Landmark family who have served.

We were also honored to hear from retired Air Force Colonel Bob Davis. He was the comptroller in the MIddle East and worked with friendlies to secure sites for military bases, air fields etc. After 18 IED attacks, he finally was seriously wounded himself when a bomb crushed his spinal cord. He has worked himself back to health having to learn to eat and speak and finally walk again.  He is a true American hero.
