Sunya Osborn will sorely missed next year when she retires from teaching.  Sunya was recently recognized by KSL.com and Zions Bank in their Teacher Feature segment.  After several years of teaching, which started at Payson Junior High School, she has assisted many students over the years.  Sunya has worked with student as the Yearbook Advisor, English Teacher, Nebo School District Literacy Specialist.

Sunya wanted to continue to assist students in their learning process, so when she went to the district office as the literacy specialist, she started teaching at Landmark High School.  Although she only taught one class she has had a huge impact on students’ lives.  Senior Erica Cone state, “It was an honor to be able to spend my last year with you before you leave. I'm sad to hear that you won't be back, but you deserve a rest. You're such an amazing teacher and will be missed.”
