Landmark works to instill 5 Vital Behaviors that will keep our students on the pathway to success, no matter what they choose to do with their lives. To promote these behaviors, we award Student of the Month accolades to 5 students who have excelled at one or more of these behaviors.
For the month of Fenurary those students are the following:
Attendance: Fernanda Carmona has not missed a day of school in the last 2 miniterms. She's not just here to be here, either; she gets her work done.
Positive Attitude: Elise Hickerson despite working a lot of hours at her job, Elise is generally here and positive about what's expected of her. She is happy and polite to all around her, willing to engage with students she doesn't know well.
Productivity: Alex Hansen- Alex always works in class. He doesn't disrupt anyone just quietly works on his assignment. Alex is a wonderful addition to the class and the great example he shows to other students
Cooperation: Hunter Conder- While Hunter is a quiet student as a general rule, I've noticed him going out of his way to work with some students I wouldn't normally see him pairing with voluntarily. He goes out of his way to help those in my class who don't understand something he does.
Respect: Jayden Ruiz- is always happy and kind to everyone. She is wonderful and helpful for teachers who have her, and is quick to help students in class. She is always one of the first to volunteer for tasks.
