Once There Was a Snowman

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Students and faculty got wrapped up in the first Advisory class challenge of the school year. Each class competed against the others to see who could transmogrify their teacher into a snowman and get them across the finish line first. The challenge was to make the teacher a snowman using 3 rolls of toilet paper, paper buttons, crepe scarf, knitted cap, with a carrot nose as the finishing touch. Nate Brown's class ended up getting him papered up and across the line the fastest. He now holds coveted the Golden Cone trophy... at least until the next challenge!

This Is War!

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Preparations for war turned into action in History class. Students put their battle plans into practice as they fashioned the desks, tables, and chairs in Chelsie's room into an ersatz battlefield. Alliances were put to the test as students had mere moments to gather, craft, and launch their ammo at the enemy. Bombs away!

The greatest boy band Landmark had ever seen

Submitted by Carrie.pingel on

Todd, Josh, Rafael, and Eli from Chelsie's 4th period US History class comprised the greatest boy band Landmark has ever seen. These fabulous IV started the class sing-along and then won the Cold War commander game. They have dubbed themselves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Because they won the Cold War Commander game they earned the right to request a custom octopus, handmade by Chelsie. Of course, they chose the ninja turtles.
